A new SKU inside
an existing relationship.

Cardinal already carries the AIRfeet insole line (Classic O2, Relief O2, Sport O2, Patriot O2). We're launching a footwear extension of the same brand — FSA/HSA-eligible recovery slides — and want to add them to the Cardinal catalog as a natural extension of what we already ship together.
The ask, up front

A 30-minute category-fit conversation to walk through the new SKU (AIRfeet Recovery Slide, FSA/HSA-eligible), and to determine whether it fits Cardinal's Foot Care / Orthopedic Support catalog. If yes, we handle the SIGIS + UPC + onboarding on our side — you don't take on new vendor risk.

01 Why this fits Cardinal

Same supplier. Adjacent category. Zero new vendor onboarding.

The AIRfeet insole line has shipped through Cardinal for [DURATION — Marshall to confirm]. Terms, logistics, and QC are already in place. Adding a footwear SKU means:

  • No new supplier due-diligence process — Tyrol Worldwide LLC is already an approved vendor.
  • No new shipping / packaging setup — same Indianapolis fulfillment hub, same 12-pair carton spec (HS 6402.99).
  • No new payment terms negotiation — same net terms as the O2 line.
  • Adjacent category to Cardinal's existing foot-care catalog (insoles, arch supports, orthotic accessories). Not a category expansion — a category extension.
02 The market fit

Recovery footwear + FSA/HSA is a real category.

The buyer profile that Cardinal already serves — pharmacies, DME resellers, hospital gift shops, therapy clinics — is the exact same buyer that stocks recovery footwear. OOFOS has proven the retail-shelf demand for recovery slides at $60–80 price points. Nobody has proven them as an FSA/HSA-eligible SKU shipped through medical distribution. We think we can.

Ready-to-stock. Documented.
Low risk on your side.

Substantiation on file

Materials spec from Riseny · closed-cell EVA density, antimicrobial treatment specification, outsole tread durability testing. Available on request for your category-buyer review.

SIGIS classification

Same merchant category code as the Relief O2 insole submission. Product classification: therapeutic footwear · foot pain relief. Registered before any Cardinal-facing shelf placement.

Inventory position

17,000+ pairs on the water or in Indianapolis warehouse as of August 2026 (Riseny PO 1000). Additional production runs available on 90-day lead times from Cardinal PO.

Point of contact

Marshall Welton, Managing Member — same contact as the O2 insole line. Single-thread through Cardinal's existing supplier relationship management. No new sales rep, no new escalation path.

05 What we're asking for

Three questions. That's the meeting.

  • Category fit review — does the AIRfeet Recovery Slide fit Cardinal's Foot Care / Orthopedic Support category? If not, is there a different category (recovery, wellness) it fits better?
  • Onboarding path — can we add this SKU under the existing Tyrol Worldwide LLC vendor account, or does footwear require a separate agreement?
  • Initial order sizing — what's a realistic first-order quantity to test shelf performance? We can support 500–5,000 pair initial ship, sized to Cardinal's typical new-SKU introduction pattern.
The honest expectation-setting

This is a first conversation — we're not asking for a PO on the call. Our expectation is a 30-minute category discussion, a decision about whether it's a fit, and — if yes — a light next-step (sample submission, category-buyer intro, or a Q4 pilot proposal). If not a fit, tell us directly so we can invest the time elsewhere.

06 Timing

Q4 window · Nov–Dec.

FSA/HSA account holders spend the majority of their annual balance in November and December (use-it-or-lose-it deadlines). To capture that window, we'd need to be on Cardinal-connected shelves and in Cardinal-catalog searches by mid-October at latest.

If Q4 2026 is unrealistic — which it may be given Cardinal's typical new-SKU onboarding timeline — Q1 2027 is a fallback with a soft-launch approach: DTC only through Q4 2026, learn the FSA/HSA-checkout mechanics, then bring proof-of-concept sales data to the Cardinal conversation in January.
